Hinshaw & Culbertson, the go-to firm for law firms facing ethics and professional malpractice concerns, announced Monday that Janis Meyer, former longtime general counsel of now-defunct Dewey & LeBoeuf, joined the firm as a partner on Jan. 1.

The mission of the 60-plus-lawyer group, according to the firm’s website, is to advise lawyers and firms on legal malpractice defense, professional ethics, firm structure and risk management.
