Australian firm HWL Ebsworth is adding two partners in Perth.

Erica Hartley and Paul Wilson will join from Herbert Smith Freehills and Minter Ellison, respectively. HWL Ebsworth did not say when the two lawyers, who are currently serving out notice periods, would start at the firm.

Hartley will head HWL Ebsworth’s workplace relations and safety group. She advises on related labor matters, with a particular focus on employment litigation and breach of contract issues. First joining the former Freehills in 1992, she became a partner in 2000.

Wilson will work in HWL Ebsworth’s property group. His practice involves development, major acquisitions and disposals, infrastructure projects, and commercial leasing, among other matters. Wilson was most recently a special counsel at Minter Ellison, which he joined in 2009. Before that, he was a partner at the former Freehills, which he joined via that firm’s 1997 merger with Parker & Parker.

HWL Ebsworth has 475 lawyers, including 162 partners, working in six offices in Australia.
