The New York Jets and Giants football teams and their lawyers at Sullivan & Cromwell cleared a big hurdle on Monday in their breach of contract suit against the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and the developers of American Dream at Meadowlands, a long-stalled entertainment, shopping, and amusement center near the teams' MetLife stadium, home of the 2014 Super Bowl.
