Clayton Utz has recruited a new partner in Melbourne.
Andrew Norman was previously a partner at King & Wood Mallesons. He advises on property matters in the commercial, industrial, and retail sectors. In May, he acted for the real estate arm of GE Capital in May on its sale of five Australian office buildings to property trust Mirvac Group for $589 million.
Norman had been with the former Mallesons Stephen Jaques since 1991, becoming partner in 2005 and staying on after its merger with China’s King & Wood last year.
Clayton Utz has over 850 lawyers, including 200 partners. The firm has six national offices in Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, as well as an associated office in Hong Kong.
