Sheldon Bonovitz, the chair emeritus of Duane Morris, has made a name for himself outside of the legal world. Bonovitz, who served as the firm’s chair from 1998 to 2008, and his wife, Jill, have spent 30 years amassing a collection of "outsider" art works created by self-taught artists hat will wrap up a 10-week exhibition at the Philadelphia Art Museum on June 9.
Titled "Great and Mighty Things: Outsider Art from the Jill and Sheldon Bonovitz Collection," the exhibition showcases 200 pieces from 27 artists, and has drawn rave reviews from art critics and art lovers alike. "The response has been tremendous," says Bonovitz.
