K&L Gates has recruited a China-focused partner for its Palo Alto office.

Linda Zhou was most recently an associate with Silicon Valley firm Gunderson Dettmer Stough Villeneuve Franklin & Hachigian. Qualified in both China and California, she advises U.S. and Chinese clients on a range of technology-related matters, including financings, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions.
Before joining Gunderson two years ago, Zhou was an associate at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe in Menlo Park. She also previsouly worked in the Palo Alto office of Jones Day.
Pittsburgh-based K&L Gates now has about 30 lawyers working from its Palo Alto office, including 15 partners. The firm has 2,000 lawyers worldwide.
