Ted Olson: The Time is Right to Bring Gay Marriage Before the Supreme Court
When the U.S. Supreme Court recently announced that it would hear a challenge to California's Proposition 8, even supporters of marriage equality were worried that it was too soon for the justices to hear a case that could force them to consider whether there's a constitutional right to same-sex marriage. But Gibson Dunn partner Ted Olson, one of the co-counsel for the gay and lesbian couples in the case, tells us in an interview why he believes the moment is now.
