Watson, Farley & Williams has added a partner to its Hong Kong office.

Richard Wilmot joins the London-based firm from another British firm, Holman Fenwick Wilan, where he has been a partner in the Hong Kong office since 2000.

Wilmot advises trading companies, buyers and banks on energy and commodities transactions, with a particular focus on petroleum products, coal, and liquefied natural gas. He also represents industry clients in litigation and arbitration matters.

Watson Farley opened its Hong Kong office in March. Wilmot joins a team that now counts eight lawyers, including four partners. The firm, which has around 320 lawyers worldwide, also has Asian offices in Singapore and Bangkok.
