Ashurst has hired a new litigation partner for its Hong Kong office.
Angus Ross was previously a partner in
Allen & Overy’s Hong Kong office. He specializes in banking and finance disputes.
Ross joined Allen & Overy in London as an associate in 1999 and became a partner in 2003. He relocated to Hong Kong with the firm in 2004. Prior to joining Allen & Overy, Ross worked in Australia at the former Mallesons Stephen Jaques, now known as
King & Wood Mallesons.
London-based Ashurst opened its Hong Kong office in 2008. Ross will be the tenth partner in that office.
