The combination between Tresscox and Macrossan will become effective Oct. 1.
The firms practice in areas including commercial litigation, immigration, and employment.
In a statement, Tresscox said the move would significantly expand its Queensland practice.
“Macrossans is a highly reputable and respected firm, and we see a number of synergies not only in our cultures but in our approach to growth, our strategic intent and the extension of services we’re able to offer our clients,” said TressCox managing partner Peter Smith.
Macrossans chairman and managing partner Bill Hickey will lead the Brisbane office for the combined firm.
