Distributors of smoke-free "e-cigarettes" argued in Washington, D.C., federal district court Monday for an injunction against the FDA's ban on importing the nicotine-vaporizing devices into the country. The FDA says distributors are marketing e-cigarettes as smoking cessation devices and calls them unregulated drugs. The companies' lawyers say the products are meant to keep customers smoking, not to help them quit.
