As Some Try to Organize Support for Perkins Coie, Big Law Management Quiet for Now

At least a couple large law firms are in the process of gathering signatures for an amicus brief in support of Perkins Coie’s lawsuit against the Trump administration, sources say.

A day after a judge temporarily blocked President Donald Trump’s executive order against Perkins Coie, Big Law firms are still considering whether to publicly speak up on the matter. Some are said to be gathering signatures for an amicus brief, but there are lingering doubts whether it will come together.
