Herbert Smith Freehills’ leadership has voted to remove an Australian lawyer from its partnership following an internal investigation into a “deeply offensive” tweet directed at a Jewish lawyer at another firm.
Rebecca Maslen-Stannage, HSF chair and senior partner, said notice had been issued to corporate partner Damien Hazard to end his involvement with the firm.
