Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher strengthened its securities enforcement capabilities with the hiring of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission senior officer Osman Nawaz, the firm announced on Monday.
Nawaz, who spent more than 14 years at the SEC before departing last month, joins the firm's New York office as a partner working in its securities enforcement and white-collar defense and investigations practice groups.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota.
