Latham & Watkins has confirmed Ray Schrock, a restructuring co-chair at Weil Gotshal & Manges, will join the firm and serve as its global chair of restructuring and special situations. Three other top restructuring laterals will join him.
The elite firm said in a release Thursday that Schrock, whose departure from Weil was reported earlier this week, will be joined by Candace Arthur and Alexander Welch, two other partners from Weil. Arthur had practiced at Weil for nearly 15 years and Welch for the last eight, according to their LinkedIn profiles.
