- A leading recruiter of law firm partners has joined the recruiters of Lippman Jungers and Johnson Downie, two partner search firms that combined in March.
- The recruiting firm also announced a rebrand as "CenterPeak," a name that reflects the firm's stated goal of becoming the top partner recruiting firm in the world.
- CenterPeak is considering expansions to Chicago and London, founding partner Clint Johnson said.
Six months after announcing their combination, law firm partner recruiting firms Lippman Jungers and Johnson Downie established a presence in Washington, D.C., with the hiring of Jeffrey Lowe, the former global practice leader of Major, Lindsey & Africa's law firm practice group.

The complaint, filed Sept. 30 in New York Southern District Court by the Securities and Exchange Commission, accuses the defendants of using consulting agreements, attorney opinion letters and other mechanisms to skirt regulations limiting stock sales by affiliate companies and allowing the defendants to unlawfully profit from sales of Enzolytics stock. The complaint, filed Aug. 27 in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court by Brodsky & Smith on behalf of Hung Trinh, accuses the defendant of discharging polluted stormwater from its steel facility without a permit in violation of the Clean Water Act.
