A former Thompson Hine partner who served as the firm’s pro bono committee chair filed a federal gender discrimination lawsuit against the firm and three partners on Friday, alleging the firm’s former vice chair of litigation created a “toxic boys club locker room” environment and targeted her and other female colleagues for harassment.

In a pro se complaint filed Friday in the Southern District of New York, Rebecca Brazzano, who started her own law firm after leaving Thompson Hine in 2022, said partner Richard DePalma directed billable client work away from her and behaved inappropriately toward her and other female colleagues at the firm. Brazzano is seeking damages of no less than $15 million.
