White & Case said Wednesday that it has added two lateral partners in New York in high-priority practices, including a lawyer from the Securities and Exchange Commission in its white-collar defense group and a longtime Paul Hastings partner in its real estate finance practice.
The new hires include Ladan Stewart, who was an SEC assistant director and regional trial counsel heading the agency’s crypto and cyber litigation unit, as well as John Cahill, who was previously a real estate finance practice group head at Paul Hastings.
