Raul Yanes, most recently the head of nonfinancial risk at Morgan Stanley, has rejoined Davis Polk & Wardwell for what will be his third stint with the firm. He will again head up the firm’s white-collar defense and investigations practice, working out of the firm’s New York office.

The move is the latest lateral rotation between big banks and Big Law, as law firms become bigger and more profitable. Robert Kindler, global chair of mergers and acquisitions at Morgan Stanley, left the bank last year to join Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison. In September, Rohan Weerasinghe, who was global general counsel of Citigroup, rejoined Shearman & Sterling.
