Alessandra “Aly” Love Simons, after close to 10 years at Goodwin Procter, where she ascended to co-chair of the technology M&A practice, is joining Debevoise & Plimpton as a partner, the firm said Wednesday.
Love Simons said she “didn’t wake up one morning and decide that now is the time to leave Goodwin,” but rather over the course of several months of coffees and lunches, knowing that Debevoise M&A co-chair Michael Diz was going to be her co-worker was enough for her to make the move.
