While the departure of Stroock Stroock & Lavan’s restructuring group to Paul Hastings in April was a blow, it would be unfair to say the firm is on its last legs. Stroock certainly hasn’t been a sinking ship, but it has also found itself in a sort of stasis when it comes to revenue, and in decline when it comes to head count.
