Hogan Lovells continues to scale its corporate practice in the U.S. with the hire of former Foley Hoag mergers and acquisitions co-chair Alex Aber as a partner in Boston.

Aber is the fifth M&A partner to join the firm in the U.S. this year, following four new faces who joined in February in New York. The move indicates that dealmakers remain in demand even with rising doubts about the health of the U.S. and global economies.
