Norton Rose Fulbright is boosting its presence in Minneapolis with the hire of an 11-lawyer team, including four partners, from local litigation boutique Blackwell Burke.

Jerry Alcazar, S. Jamal Faleel, Benjamin W. Hulse and Mary S. Young are all joining Norton Rose Fulbright’s commercial litigation and products, pharma, medical and mass tort teams as partners, joined by seven other counsel and associates. Together, these lawyers compose the majority of Blackwell Burke, which faces an uncertain future as founding partner Jerry Blackwell moves into a public service role.
