Husch Blackwell saw near-double-digit growth in revenue and profits last year, with leaders pointing to a “booming” renewable energy practice, a bounce-back in real estate after pandemic uncertainty and a roughly half-decade upward trend in revenue and net income.

The firm’s gross revenue grew 14.3% to $476.7 million, while average profits per equity partner grew 9.3% to $846,000. The Kansas City-founded firm also saw a 15% increase in net income, a more than 5.5% boost in revenue per lawyer and an 8.4% increase in head count, to 726.
