Hunton Andrews Kurth has joined a growing group of firms to expand diversity and inclusion billable-hour incentives beyond lawyers to nonlawyer timekeepers, including paralegals.

Robin Russell, a partner in Houston and the firm’s deputy managing partner, said participation in any firmwide or local office D&I committee, program or presentation will qualify for the D&I billable hours. The initiatives range from competitive events such as scavenger hunts, a cultural food fair, a women’s poetry reading, and other speakers and presentations.
