Frank Favia, a longtime Sidley Austin partner before he became general counsel of the mortgage giant Guaranteed Rate in 2020, is returning to the Am Law 20 firm as a litigation partner.
While at Chicago-based Guaranteed Rate, Favia led a team of over 250 lawyers and staff and was part of the company’s executive leadership team. During his tenure, the company closed two major acquisitions and swelled in size, with its workforce increasing to more than 10,000.
