Paul, Weiss, Rifkind & Garrison and McDermott Will & Emery were the first two Big Law firms to match the new associate pay scale announced by Davis, Polk & Wardwell on Tuesday.
Cleary Gottleib Steen & Hamilton also matched the scale for U.S. associates Wednesday morning, according to a memo obtained by Law.com.
