In an effort to implement a five-year plan centered on client and revenue growth, Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz has created a new C-suite role, chief growth officer, responsible for structuring and executing lateral recruitment across the firm and reviewing and vetting law firm merger candidates.
Mark Carlson, a former general counsel, M&A practice group leader and operations director who first joined Baker Donelson in 2004, has been named to the position after a national search.
