Eric Herschmann, a lawyer who represented former President Donald Trump during his first impeachment trial and later became a central figure in battles over the election results, left behind a $3.3 million partnership share at Kasowitz Benson Torres to join the Trump White House last year, according to a newly filed financial disclosure.

Herschmann had been working at Kasowitz Benson for more than 24 years when he left in August 2020 to become a senior adviser to Trump. He reported earning $3,313,154 from the firm, according to the financial statement.
