International arbitration partners James Berger and Charlene Sun have moved from King & Spalding to DLA Piper, where they hope the firm’s substantial global network will enhance a practice that focuses on enforcing existing awards and judgments.

The pair, who started at DLA on Monday, noted that a surge in third-party funding for international arbitration, part of the wider litigation finance boom, has led to increased interest in what happens to awards after the arbitration process is complete.
