As recent data and league tables have shown, 2021 is showing no signs of slowing down when it comes to the amount of deal work out there. This week was a prime example.
In what has seemingly become pedestrian, there were nine deals over $1 billion announced this week, which in any other year would be of significant note but in 2021 is par for the course. The week also brought an onslaught of SPACs and IPOs in numbers impressive even for 2021.
