Today, DLA Piper launched Aiscension, a tech-based service provider created in collaboration with AI and e-discovery company Reveal.
The impetus for Aiscension was DLA Piper’s internal discussions regarding the emergence of risk-detecting technology that could lessen the immediate need for lawyers and other professional services, said Reveal CEO Wendell Jisa. Instead of ignoring the emerging tech, Jisa said, the firm discussed how to launch and license similar software.
