MinterEllison chief executive Annette Kimmitt will leave the Australian law firm after its board decided her position was no longer tenable in the wake of her email to staff apologizing for the firm acting for a senior politician accused of a historic rape, according to a report.
The Australian Financial Review is reporting that after a meeting on Tuesday, board chairman David O’Brien told Kimmitt her services were no longer required.
