Buoyed by surging demand for advice on workplace law during the pandemic, Fisher Phillips saw double-digit percentage increases in revenue and profits, while the Am Law 200 labor and employment firm expanded its attorney ranks.

Even though single-plaintiff employment litigation dropped, it was offset by new demand for advice on workplace issues, said chairman Roger Quillen. In the 2½ months from the firm’s COVID-19 resource center’s launch in mid-March, Fisher Phillips gained 900 new clients and opened 4,700 new matters for existing clients.
