Many law firms may have the tech solutions they need to accomplish tasks like bolstering efficiency, managing documents and communicating effectively from home firmly in place. However, ensuring those tools are being actively engaged with by staff and attorneys most likely remains something of a work-in-progress.

Jim McKenna, chief information officer at Fenwick & West, noted that most law firms are sitting on a lot of tech that is going underutilized—a situation that may have been somewhat exacerbated by the pandemic.
