Baker McKenzie’s chief operating officer for the past three years, Jason Marty, is leaving for Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner, where he will serve in the same role.

Marty, who spent two decades at Baker McKenzie and became the firm’s global chief operating officer in 2017, fills an opening at BCLP that will be created when its current global chief operating officer, London-based David Rowe, decamps for the U.K.’s Fladgate at the end of the year. The moves are another sign big firms continue to seek C-suite staff from one another, amid the heightened competition for experienced administrators.
