The candidates for President Donald Trump’s U.S. Supreme Court pick are well known for their judicial service or government experience, but they were all tied to the billable hour at big firms earlier in their careers.

The candidates’ law firm backgrounds range widely, including Amy Coney Barrett, the front-runner, having a few years of associate experience at Baker Botts and a boutique.
