Joshua Ratner, who spent the last 12 years as general counsel of private equity at investment firm York Capital Management, has crossed back to a law firm, joining Goodwin Procter as a partner.

Ratner joined Goodwin this week in New York in its private equity practice. Mike Kendall, co-chair of Goodwin’s private equity practice, said Ratner brings to Goodwin skills and experience that no one else on the team has.
