Speakers:

Kendall Smith | Business Development Manager 

Kendall has worked in the court and legal technologies industries for 25+ years with a focus on emerging new court and electronic filing solutions. She started her career as a litigation paralegal and, in 1995, joined LAWPlus, LLC, the company that developed one of the first e-filing systems in the U.S. and that was ultimately acquired by LexisNexis in the early 2000s. She managed strategy and sales for LexisNexis File & Serve until 2015. As a business development manager for Thomson Reuters Court Management Solutions, she now finds ways to help courts succeed in their modernization efforts, including virtual hearings and remote trials. Kendall has a B.A. degree from the University of Texas, is a certified litigation paralegal, certified e-discovery specialist and has completed various leadership programs at Harvard Business School and Babson College.

Bret Anderson | Client Manager AMLAW Firms

Experienced Account Manager with a demonstrated history of partnership in the information technology, legal and services industry. Strategic legal industry professional with a Finance and Information Systems degree from Stetson University, a Juris Doctorate from Florida State University and Thomson Reuters Executive MBA. Actively licensed Florida attorney. Currently Client Manager, Global Large Law / AMLAW firms. Past career experience includes commercial litigation practice, prosecutorial experience, Practical Law Large Law Firm Client Manager for the Southeastern quadrant of the United States, Large Law Firm Senior Client Manager for Midsize Law Firms and Top 500 Corporate Account Manager for the Southeastern United States.

Carol Jo (CJ) LechtenbergSenior Director Westlaw Product Management

CJ currently works on the Westlaw Product Management team leading innovation and developing enhancements to solve customer problems. CJ joined TR in 2002 as a reference attorney and began her Westlaw product development career in 2006.  She has her Juris Doctor from the University of North Dakota School of Law, as well as multiple Bachelor of Arts degrees in Accounting, Business Administration and History/Political Science from the University of Jamestown.
