King & Spalding Adds Class Action Defense Pair in Chicago and LA

King & Spalding is bolstering its consumer class action practice with the addition of two partners formerly with Sidley Austin in Los Angeles and Chicago.

Former Sidley partner Livia Kiser comes to the firm in Chicago, while Michael Shortnacy, counsel at Sidley, is joining the Los Angeles office. The pair joined Sidley in 2014 from Loeb & Loeb.
