Dykema Gossett: David Collins joins the firm’s corporate finance practice group, leading the corporate compliance team as of counsel in the Detroit office. Previously, Collins served as the executive director of corporate compliance for General Motors.
Venable (Washington): David Kettel joins the firm as partner in the Los Angeles office. Kettel will focus on U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission issues, white- collar defense and internal investigations. Previously, Kettel was an assistant U.S. attorney in Los Angeles.
McCarter & English (Newark, N.J.): David A. White joins the firm’s litigation practice as partner in the Wilmington, Del., office. Previously, White was a Delaware Superior Court commissioner responsible for all pretrial matters in asbestos and benzene litigation, and regularly served as a mediator for the Superior Court in toxic tort, personal injury, medical negligence and commercial matters. Before joining the court, White practiced with Murphy Welch Spadaro & Landon, and Welch & White.
