Manion, Circuit Judge. In 1995,Geraldine Rendler applied to Corus Bankto finance the purchase of a condominiumand received both an adjustable rate notesecured by a first mortgage and a homeequity line of credit secured by a secondmortgage under Corus Bank’s 80/20 loanprogram. Rendler subsequently sued CorusBank under the Truth in Lending Act(“TILA”), alleging that the bank violatedthe Act by issuing two loans and two TILAdisclosure statements in connection witha single credit transaction. The districtcourt certified a class of individuals towhom Corus Bank issued two loans and twoTILA disclosure statements in connectionwith the financing of a single purchaseor the refinancing of a single piece ofresidential real estate. Followingdiscovery, the district court grantedCorus Bank summary judgment holding thatit had not violated the TILA. Rendlerappeals this decision and we affirm.
