Linda Lebid (Deceased) by John R. Lebid *fn1 petitions for review of the August 23, 2000 order of the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board (WCAB), which affirmed the decision of a workers’ compensation judge (WCJ) to deny and dismiss the employee’s Petition to Seek Approval of a Compromise and Release Agreement (Petition). We affirm.

The parties have stipulated that, on March 4, 1986, the employee sustained a work-related injury to her low back in the course of her employment as a recreational therapist at the Pocopson Home, a retirement home operated by the County of Chester (Employer). (Stipulation of Facts, Nos. 1-2.) *fn2 Since the injury, the employee received approximately $465,000 in indemnity and medical benefits. (Stipulation of Facts, No. 2.)
