Dewey & LeBoeuf is making its long-awaited debut in Dubai, after securing the hire of two partners from rival Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld. Gavin Watson, who headed Akin Gump's Dubai office, and banking partner Chris Sioufi, who joined last year from DLA Piper, are making the move. Akin Gump will be closing its Dubai office on Jan. 21, and is expected to relocate to Abu Dhabi within the next few months.
