Lawyers expect electronic discovery and globalization to have the most effect on the practice of law over the next five years, according to a new survey from the Robert Half Legal staffing agency. Twenty-five percent of survey respondents named electronic discovery as the top catalyst for change, while 23 percent cited globalization. International corporate expansions have prompted an increasing number of lawyers to work in multiple jurisdictions, said Robert Half Legal's Executive Director Charles Volkert.
