The soft moment occurred after Carnes had spent about 10 minutes poking holes in an appeal by plaintiffs trying to sue Coca-Cola for securities fraud. The plaintiffs' complaint contends that top executives made false and misleading statements about Coke's business and financial standing that artificially inflated the price of Coke stock.
