Cozen O’Connor has fired back at a woman lawyer who filed a sexdiscrimination suit against the firm, saying in its formal answer to thesuit that she was fired for “poor judgment and poor decision-making” andfor continuing to violate firm rules even after she was placed onprobation.

In the suit, attorney Patricia Biswanger claims that Cozen O’Connoremployed a double standard by prohibiting her from using any “firmresources” for political work, while having no objection to thepolitical activities of male attorneys.
