IRobot Corp. said Nov. 5 that a Massachusetts district court granted in part its request for preliminary injunction against a former employee and his company prohibiting the use of some features in a robot similar to its PackBot.
While exact terms of the order were sealed because they include trade secrets, U.S. District Judge Nancy Gertner found iRobot is likely to succeed in its claim that Jameel Ahed misappropriated the company’s trade secrets and used them in the development of his company’s Robotic FX Inc.’s robot tracks for its product the Negotiator, the company said.
