A defamation suit has been filed against the attorney representing a man charged with embezzling $4.3 million from his brother’s personal injury law firm, Galasso, Langione & Botter.
The suit, filed in Nassau County, N.Y., Supreme Court, charges that Thomas F. Liotti of Garden City, N.Y., made “reckless and defamatory” comments to the media, accusing Peter J. Galasso and James Langione of “being complicit” in skimming escrow accounts of the firm’s clients.
