Goya Foods has won another battle in litigation spawned by the ouster of its president and board chairman, Joseph Unanue.
A Bergen County, N.J., jury on Sept. 21 found the Secaucus company’s former director of marketing, Maria Esperanza Carrion, could not enforce a severance agreement that would have paid her $304,000, or two years’ compensation, plus her legal fees in the case.
